Carbon Disclosure project

Climate Disclosure Project (CDP) is an international reporting framework for companies to manage their environmental impacts. It is aimed at increasing transparency and providing an intuitive performance score based on companies’ climate action (www.cdp.net). 2021 marked the first year we publicly disclosed our environmental impacts to CDP. Arendals Fossekompani was awarded with score B in 2021.

UN Global Compact

Arendals Fossekompani joined UN Global Compact in 2020, and thus, became part of most important global network for a more sustainable future. The membership is a non-binding United Nations pact to encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, and to report on their implementation. We report on the UN Global Compact’s ten principles for business policies for human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. The annual report should be regarded as our Communication on Progress (CoP), qualifying for the GC Active level.

ESG 100

Each year, the independent research and advisory firm The Governance Group makes a rating of the 100 largest companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The ranking is based on analysis of companies’ sustainability reports. Arendals Fossekompani was awarded with score B- in 2021.
