Arendals Fossekompani appoints two new executives

Adding core industrial and financial expertise, Arendals Fossekompani appoints two new Executive Vice Presidents.

Ann-Kari Amundsen Heier is a seasoned executive with 35 years of experience from industry and from international research environments.


For the last 20 years, Heier has been part of top management teams in an international setting. Prior to that she worked for CERN and the European Space Agency. She is currently Chief Operating Officer at Telenor Maritime and a former Director at MacGregor Norway.


Heier holds a master’s degree in cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She is the Deputy Chairman of NHO Agder and a Board Member of Space Norway.


Håkon Tanem has extensive experience from investment management, active ownership and international management consulting.


Since 2012, Tanem has worked as investment portfolio manager for Å Energi Invest, formerly known as Agder Energi Venture. He was chairman and later interim CEO of Morrow Batteries. Prior to Å Energi, Tanem was a Principal at A. T. Kearney, and a consultant at Boston Consulting Group.


Tanem holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
