Strong recognition from the Carbon Disclosure Project

Arendals Fossekompani has received a B from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), widely regarded as the gold standard of environmental reporting.

Ingunn Ettestøl, ESG Director at Arendals Fossekompani.

“We are very pleased! This is a strong recognition of our position in the renewable energy sector and the work we do within ESG,” says Ingunn Ettestøl, ESG Director at Arendals Fossekompani.

The Carbon Disclosure Project is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts.

CDP is considered the gold standard of environmental reporting with the richest and most comprehensive dataset on corporate and city action.

Arendals Fossekompani is amongst the 26 per cent of companies that reached “Management Level” in its activity group, according to CDP. The score of B was equal to the European regional average, but higher than the global average of B- and the renewable power generation sector average of C.

“We have been in the renewable energy sector for 125 years, but we are still determined to continue to work to be even better,” says Ettestøl.
