Equal Workplace is a research-based certification scheme that provides employers with tools for how to address equality and diversity issues, and a network for learning and sharing experiences with others.
Arendals Fossekompani has for some time been implementing guidelines for equality and diversity, which has led to the certification. An internal team comprised of employees at different levels of the organisation has worked together on these topics.
“Working together with Equal Workplace has helped us define a clear strategy for equlity and diversity. There is always room for improvement and this process has made us better,” says Ingunn Ettestøl, Chief Sustainability Officer at Arendals Fossekompani.
